We had a very successful open house today at the total rehab project in Kirkwood.  What makes a successful open house?  Having a lot of people come through is important.  Getting feedback from them is important, and ideally, getting an offer is most important!

We had a good group through, around 30 people walked through the house and I was able to learn a few things.  Its just at a size (around 1100 square feet) that people felt was perfect for a single person, or maybe a couple, but may be a little tight for a family with kids without finishing the basement. We learned that putting in a little staging to show the dining room size is something that would make the space show better for potential buyers. All of the buyers that walked through had really positive things to say about the quality of the rehab work and how nice the place looked. I am happy that this Kirkwood rehabber went the extra mile to not only tackle the big house projects but also paid attention to detail for things like allure flooring in the breezeway room where there will be a lot of traffic.  There were a lot of interested buyers today and I am hoping we have an offer very soon.
