Geography of St. Louis Missouri: St. Louis Missouri is right in the Middle of the United States. We are the gateway to the west, which is signified with the Downtown St. Louis Arch. It is a typical Missouri landscape which is anything but typical. We have rivers and creeks, valleys and hills, forests and plains.
Weather of St. Louis: When I went to bed last night it was freezing cold out, and raining, today when I got up in University City it was windy but 55 degrees out, I went to the grocery store in South St. Louis city near my home on The Hill, and when I came out there was a monsoon. My point is that with St. Louis Missouri weather, you never know what to expect. Occasionally people ski with shorts on, or sometimes you have to mow your lawn with a jacket on. The great thing about weather in the STL is just getting the change of seasons. It is just one more thing to look forward to.
Politics in St. Louis: St. Louis politics are similar to other cities only in the fact that they are totally screwed up. People dont trust the mayor or the police department. St. Louis cops all talk bad about each other and their chief. No matter who you talk to they think there is a major segregation of the people, although depending on who you talk to the problem, and the solutions, are all different. South City people seem to hate or be envious of West County people. West County (chesterfield, ballwin, des peres) people like to make fun of St. Charles, St. Peters, Wentzville and Lake St. Louis people. Everyone is afraid of North County, and most people like to talk about getting St. Louis downtown revitalized, but dont want to do anything about it.
