What is Flat Fee MLS, Adam?
In todays real estate market, some homeowners are going looney-toons because their home is not SOLD. Ninety (90) days ago they offered a realtor 6% commission to sell their house, and freak out because their home is still sitting on the market.

Try to sidestep the realtor and sell For Sale by Owner to save 3% for listing, but offer the buyer's real estate agent 3% commission for bringing the buyer to the house, and helping with all the paperwork. Selling your home for sale by owner is a great idea, it works for many people...the only problem is putting a sign in your yard will only let your neighbors know the house is for sale.
Whats the solution? Ready, aim, fire...You make your home's sale information available to Realtors all over your local region by listing with a MLS flat fee to list your house on the MLS or Multiple listing service for a fixed rate. For $399.00 I will put the pictures and information you send me into the realtors MLS database, and buyers will line up on your doorstep. Every buyer and all realtors will have access to your information and can help you sell your house fast.
Whats the catch? It seems like there is always a catch right? If your house is going to sell for $200,000 you would pay 6% normally to a real estate agent, or $12,000. With my Flat Fee MLS service you can pay the $399.00 plus 3% to the buyers agent, or $6,399.00. The only thing that can be a slight problem, is once the buyers fax you a 9 page contract, you might not know what to do. Call me up and for an additional .5 to 2%, depending on the level of service you need, I will help you take your house all the way to closing. If you can handle the paperwork yourself, go ahead and save that extra commission.

As of Today (6/14/08) Its official, we now provide Flat Fee MLS services to For Sale By Owner clients nationwide.
