I have traveled the world, been to over 22 countries, and at least 30 of the United States. Here are a few of the best places to go to get the best things, I am offering this information as a free service to you. Sandwich – Go to Adriana’s on the corner of Shaw and Hereford. Highway 44 to kingshighway south, right on Shaw, look for the crowd of Jesus and Angels lining up for a sandwich, because you have just reached Heaven. I usually start people off on the Theresa.
Frisbee Golf Course – You can’t choose a best Frisbee golf course because each one is good for something different. Come on frolf is all about being happy how can I say anything negative. Creve Couer is great if you want to basically be at a driving range, BlueBird Park is great if you want to play a really diversified course with everything from open field holes to really technical tree lined holes.
Mexican – I can’t lie to you, Chevys has the best salsa anywhere hands down, but for authentic Mexican the best place is in the ghetto, on Cherokee street just west of all the riff raff shops, just look for the huge mural of a Latino woman.
Best Dive Bar- Wizah’s qualifications for a dive bar are fairly simple; off the beaten path, only accepts cash, and has a small selection of booze but is out of most of the them anyway. Head 270 to Big Bend west, make a left on a wide corner and you will eventually find “The Fireplace” St. Louis’s best dive bar.
High School – The number one question people ask in St. Louis is what high school did you go to. This defines your family background, your personality, your lifestyle and any other stereotype anyone can imagine. In St. Louis you will get asked what high school you went to for your entire life, the best answer you can give as a male is DeSmet. The best answer you can give as a girl is Viz.
London England
Nachos – hands down best nachos in all of England, or the entire world are located at Finnegans Wake and Gloucestar square. About 2 football field lengths away from Hyde Park. These nachos are potentially worth the cost of a flight and hotel to London Heathrow.
Art Exhibit – This is at the Tate Modern museum. I would describe it but once you get there it will be so obvious I feel stupid wasting my time. E-mail me after you go so we can talk about it.
Hotel - This hotel makes the list actually as a worst. Do not go to this hotel, do not stay in the rooms, and definitely do not take a shower here. The place I speak of is the Albert Hotel, which coincidentally is about 3 football fields from the best Nachos in the world.
Train Ride- I haven’t traveled the world by train, I will be honest, but what I did do is ride from London to Edinburgh Scotland, and it was amazing. You should do this too. Much more impressive than a train trip into what deserves its own website for being the worst city, Paris France.
Yellowstone Park, Wyoming
Fly Fishing – If you want to fly fish like it was meant to be done, fly into Montana, get someone who knows how to fly fish (see Wizah services page) and go to Wyoming to fly fish.
